Cottage Flowers is a house converted to a Florist Shop with a nursery/green house to the side.

SORRY, THIS DOLLHOUSE HAS BEEN SOLD!

The inspiration for this one came from the fact that I worked for 2 years as a floral designer at a local florist. I have always loved gardening, and flower arranging.   This started as a small dollhouse kit that I bashed (which means I didn't follow directions).   Instead of 4 rooms I made it 3: The sales room, the floral design room and a small office.  The flowers and green plants are all hand made from masking tape wire and paint.  There is a flower cooler volt to the right behind the staircase.  Behind the register is shelves with all kinds of vases for the arrangement of flowers.  The design room upstairs has ribbons ready to complete a pot plant and an arrangement in progress.  The exterior of the house is in the Tudor style with brick that I designed my own way with modeling paste and paint.  The outside greenhouse has tools, pots, hanging plants and flats of flowers ready to sell.  On the wall is a potting table and a water hose ready to water all the plants.

This dollhouse was featured in, "Nutshell News" that is now called "Dollhouse Miniatures"  in Small Accomplishments.
