Pleasant Grove General Store & Molly's Dress shop is an dollhouse.  It is a two floor building from the turn of the century 1899-1900's.  Ma & Pa run the general store and their daughter Molly runs the dress shop upstairs. The outside has the charm of that time  with a front porch and loading dock with all the signs and prices of that time.  There are side stairs that leads to the dress shop.

Pleasant Grove General Store has 3 dolls: Ma , Pa and a customer or friend (not pictured) that is playing checkers with Pa by the wood burning stove.    In the store you will find the post office in one corner, a meat market in one corner and the counter where Ma is packaging up the purchases.  On the shelves you will find dishes, pots & pans, gardening tools, twines and ropes, canned goods, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables and the traditional cracker barrel with a tray of cheese that the drovers and cowboys would buy for a meal when they came in to buy their supplies.

Molly's Dress Shop has 3 dolls: Molly cutting lengths of fabric, the seamstress sitting at the sewing machine, and a customer that is peeking out of the dressing room where she has been trying on a garment made by the seamstress.  The room is full of bolts of fabrics, cards of buttons, patterns,  hats, shoes, parasol and everything needed to dress the proper lady in that day and time.

This is the type of dollhouse that you can look at many times and still find something new that you didn't see before.  This dollhouse would make for a great "attention getter" mixed with the antiques in your home.
