Things to consider before choosing art for a room.
 | What size is your wall? |
 | How high are the ceilings? |
 | What are the dominant colors/theme in the room? |
 | Do you want to hang it over the sofa, fireplace, etc?
What are the proportions? |
 | Is the room traditional or modern? |
 | How should the artwork match the motif? |
 | How much lighting do you have to work with; natural or artificial? |
We can answer these questions and offer other helpful suggestions. For
example, many people are not aware of the fact that a painting is supposed to be
hung at eye level. Also, a sizeable, framed painting has its own aura and
therefore needs to have a certain amount of empty space around it for appropriate
presentation. Another consideration is the need for varying content in the
room's artwork in order to create the right balance.
